RocCityEatz was established by Wesley Edwards, a Rochester native who had the desire to bring his new home of Houston Texas a hidden jewel of his hometown. After the major job losses of quarantine, and with the encouragement of his wife, he decided to create his own path. Since he already was a cook, and seeing how Houston is a foodie’s dream city, it only made sense to bring the unique Garbage
Plate to a city that has nothing like it. Combining the homemade macaroni salad with seasoned home fries and a 1 of a kind meat sauce, he knew it had something special for Houston.
Welcome to RocCityEatz! Here we bring a culinary delight created straight from Rochester, New York. The Garbage Plate! This dish lets you indulge in home fries, macaroni salad, hamburger patties or hotdogs topped off with a unique meat sauce with a kick. The name comes from the visual of the dish, but the savory taste is the complete opposite. One person’s trash is always another’s treasure!
